Debra's home had beautiful "bones", but she was frustrated that her family never really used the living room - it just wasn't comfortable. And it was extremely difficult to entertain groups.
Her wish was to create more seating.
And she wanted to use only what she already had - NO additonal purchases allowed! In a matter of a few hours we were able to create spaces for ten. We accomplished that by bringing in pieces from other rooms and moving other pieces within the room.
In the process of moving furniture and rearranging art and accessories the beautiful fireplace became a stunning focal point. The piano was brought in from the dining room, where it was rarely played, thereby adding on option for entertainment. And the bench will provide additional seating when needed for large gatherings.
